Sodor Tramways is a company serving Great Waterton and other nearby villages. In 1931, the Tramway opened. In earlier years, as road traffic increased, traffic on the Sodor Tramway decreased and was closed down. In 1951, it's only locomotive, Toby, who was later sold to the North Western Railway.
Soon after the rediscovery of Great Waterton, in 2008, the Sodor Tramway Company came back into business.
