Lau
Jia and Lau are a pair of cranes that helped put Nia back on the rails after she had derailed when she was in China. During Thomas' later visit to China, Lau had a close encounter with a runaway waterwheel built from bamboo; he inadvertently caught the wheel and threw it across the countryside.
